- Happy Big 250™

- The American Adventurer’s Passport™
- The American Adventurer’s Passport 250™
- Passport to 250™
- Road Show 250™
Integrated Brand Strategy & Legal Protection
These marks are part of a deliberately structured and cohesive brand ecosystem. By combining terms like “American,” “Adventurer,” “Passport,” “to,” and “250,” we have created a distinctive and legally enforceable identity recognized under U.S. trademark law.
This trademark architecture was designed to:
- Prevent genericism through unique and purpose-driven combinations
- Avoid descriptiveness via layered storytelling, fictional framing, and symbolic use
- Build cumulative distinctiveness across product lines, mobile platforms, and public events
- Qualify for protection under both federal law (Lanham Act §§ 2(d) and 43(a)) and common law
Each mark is inherently suggestive — requiring interpretive reasoning to associate the name with its function — and therefore qualifies for protection under federal trademark law and relevant USPTO guidance.
We actively monitor USPTO filings, commercial product launches, and digital campaigns across relevant classes (009, 016, 041) to detect potential infringement, confusion, or unauthorized association with our brand.
Enforcement Position
Our intent-to-use filings, combined with bona fide use in commerce, provide priority rights across our categories of protection.
Any third-party use of similarly structured marks or campaign themes — particularly those involving passport-style commemorative products tied to America’s 250th anniversary — may be subject to legal action.
We reserve the right to pursue injunctive relief, statutory and actual damages, and cancellation or opposition proceedings should any entity infringe upon or attempt to replicate our protected trademark structure.
While we acknowledge that certain patriotic or numeric terms may appear in general circulation, our legal protection applies to the specific structure, thematic presentation, and commemorative context in which these marks are deployed. This includes passport-style products, national campaigns, and digital platforms launched in conjunction with America’s 250th anniversary.
This page constitutes formal public notice of our intellectual property position.
Government Disclaimer
The Department of Adventure®, Passport to 250™, and all associated brands are private initiatives.
We are not affiliated with any government body or official authority. All references to the United States Semiquincentennial are made in a private, commemorative capacity.
